Fees on top of the subscription

  • Card payments: from 2.7% + 10¢ (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay and more).
  • ACH bank transfer: 1.5%.
  • HoneyBook says there are no hidden, international or premium-card-brand fees.
  • Businesses processing over $500,000/yr on Premium may qualify for discounted card fees.
  • Faster access to funds: 1% fee (pending eligibility), per the pricing page.

Trial and guarantee

  • 30-day free trial of “virtually every feature”, no credit card required.
  • 60-day money-back guarantee after you subscribe.
  • Free file setup: after subscribing, upload your existing documents (pricing lists, questionnaires, contracts, invoices) and HoneyBook’s team converts them into templates.

Which plan should you pick?

  • Just need proposals → contract → invoice → paid? Starter covers that flow.
  • Want automatic follow-ups, a booking scheduler or QuickBooks sync? Those start at Essentials.
  • More than 2 people need access, or you run multiple companies? That’s Premium.

Quick cost math (at displayed rates)

  • Starter: $29 × 12 = $348/yr
  • Essentials: $49 × 12 = $588/yr
  • Premium: $109 × 12 = $1,308/yr

Plus payment processing on whatever you collect through HoneyBook.

Honest drawbacks

  • Scheduler and automations, often the main reason people buy a CRM, aren’t on Starter.
  • Essentials caps you at 2 team members.
  • Lead forms are capped on Starter (2) and Essentials (10).
