Honest cons

Jobber: many useful features (automations, job costing) sit on Connect/Grow; add-ons (Receptionist $29/mo, Pipeline $49/mo, Marketing Suite $99/mo) add up; promo pricing can confuse comparisons. Housecall Pro: for a solo operator, Basic ($59/mo annual) costs about twice Jobber Core’s list price ($29/mo annual); prices only appear after the plan finder or toggle, so it’s easy to miss the monthly-billing premium ($20–$40/mo more); US/Canada focus.
